1. Connect QuestionPro

  1. 1
    Find your API key
In QuestionPro, open My Account → API and copy your API key. See how to generate your API key.
  2. 2
    Select your datacenter
Choose the datacenter that matches your QuestionPro account (US, EU, CA, AE, AU, SurveyAnalytics, US Government, or KSA). Using the wrong region will cause an "invalid key" error.
  3. 3
Add your User ID (Customer ID)
Your QuestionPro User ID is your Customer ID, found under My Account → Customer ID after you log in. It is required. Paste the key, pick the datacenter, add the Customer ID, and click Connect.

2. Connect Blackboard Learn

  1. 1
    Register a REST application
In the Anthology/Blackboard Developer Portal, create an application to get an Application Key and Secret.
  2. 2
Authorize it in your Blackboard instance
Your Blackboard admin adds the application's ID under Admin → REST API Integrations and maps it to an instructor account.
  3. 3
    Enter your details
Provide your Blackboard base URL (e.g. https://yourschool.blackboard.com), the key, the secret, and your instructor username, then click Connect.

3. (Optional) Register the LTI 1.3 tool

Needed only for graded, single sign-on survey links. In Blackboard, go to Admin → LTI Tool Providers → Register LTI 1.3 Tool and use these URLs from the LTI Setup card below:

  • Login / OIDC: /lti/login
  • Redirect / Target: /lti/launch
  • Deep linking: /lti/deeplink
  • JWKS: /lti/jwks

Then paste the Client ID Blackboard gives you into LTI Setup → Register manually. Completed surveys post participation scores back to the gradebook automatically.
